Open Position: Energy Program Representative
Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC), with headquarters in Baker City, Oregon, has an immediate opening for an Energy Program Representative in its Baker City District office. This salaried position is responsible for implementation of the Cooperative’s informational, marketing, and conservation programs throughout our service area.
Applicants must have at a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of three years experience in energy consulting, including a working knowledge of space and water heating systems, weatherization and electrical conservation techniques for residential, commercial and agricultural irrigation applications. In addition, applicants must have knowledge of sales, marketing of products and programs (or equivalent) and the ability to work and communicate effectively with employees, members, and the public.
The successful applicant must reside in the Baker District area. Benefits include medical/Rx/vision, dental, NRECA retirement and 401(k) plan. OTEC has 88 employees and four district offices serving over 30,000 consumers located in eastern Oregon known for its excellent hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation.
